Job Duties |
- Design, develop, validate, and program clinical databases, complex data validation checks, custom reporting systems, and statistical tables to ensure data quality and integrity
- Design, validate, and generate data reports, listings, and graphs. Develop and support SAS programs to run automated jobs to extract data, perform statistical analysis, and generate reports
- Identify functional and process gaps and implement solutions to gaps.
- Create, implement and maintain SAS databases. Work on data preparation, validation, reporting and documentation.
- Develop and debug the code for testing and is responsible for fixing necessary and unexpected bugs that are reported during the Quality Assurance process.
- Define customer data and analysis needs and determine deliverables based upon customer’s requirements.
- Develop programs to load cross-functional programs data into a central location to be used by different teams, for reducing storage space.
- Analyze data results from the data pull ensure deliverables have been met, and provide summary analysis to customer.
- Tune SQL queries and use SAS procedures to validate current results with expected results.
- Create appropriate SAS data sets and views for summary, analysis and reporting.
- Involved in creation of tables, views, database links and stored procedures. Transform data and/or develop insights for use in business decisions.
- Perform data quality control checks of SAS code and deliverables. Ensure that the production processing is complete according to established guidelines.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, ideas and information relating to SAS technologies.
- Act as a key resource of reporting and provider management dataflow. Perform data analysis to support management and decision making.
- Support business intelligence informatics tasks as needed with a focus on financial, clinical and marketing data. Work on SAS EG to generate reports for Ad-Hoc requests.
- Perform SAS programming (SAS/BASE, SAS/SQL, SAS/MACROS, SAS/ODS, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/ACCESS, SAS/STAT and SAS/EG).
- Will work in Glastonbury, CT and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
