Senior Java Software Engineer
Job Duties
Perform design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of large-scale multi-tier, commercial web applications working in Java technologies.
Assist in the development of program plans, cost estimates and budgets, resource-loaded schedules, earned-value tracking, and issue papers for the planning, budgeting and evaluation of application development projects.
Develop and deploy Java, J2EE components on IBM Websphere Application Server, RAD 6.0, FIX Protocol, Hibernate 3.2, Rapid SQL 7.5.1, Java Web Service with SOAP, EJB, Servlets, JSP, Java Mail, VXML.
Develop client-server, n-tier, web and distributed applications.
Work in FIX protocol (Financial Information exchange) and MUREX to facilitate electronic trading and manage the STP process.
Perform support and configuration of MUREX. Work in Messaging middleware using JMS. Develop applications using multi tier architectural frameworks like MVC and STRUTS.

Location
200 Glastonbury Boulevard, Ste 304, Glastonbury, CT 06033 and various client sites throughout the United States,and must be willing to travel and / or relocate
